    2. Objectives At the end of this module the participant can: Use the Summary Report Identify three events that will trigger a Summary Report Add the Patient Name and ID Number to Summary Report

    3. Events That Will Trigger a Summary Report Defibrillator shock or pushing the Analyze button (Advisory or AED) VF rhythm detected (Advisory or AED) Selecting Pacer Mode Alarm Trigger 12-lead acquired (if unit has 12-lead option) Code marker entered (if unit has code marker option)

    5. Summary button printing a partial summary Press Summary button Summary Menu Press the Print Chart softkey Press the Print Range softkey Press Prev Event or Next Event softkey to select the first event for Printing Press the Print softkey

    7. Changing Paper for Recording Locate paper tray at bottom, front of unit Press down on ridge below label for the paper tray Slide tray out

If Time or Date Are Incorrect Press the far right softkey at the bottom of the screen (difficult to see on illustration) Hold for 4 seconds while turning the selector switch on or to monitor (gray) Next field softkey will appear Press Inc>Value or Dec<Value softkey to change value Press Enter and Return Example of softkeys

    10. Code Marker Button Code markers are an option on the M Series/E Series to document therapies and intervention times The three models of the M Series/ E Series have different code makers in each mode Monitor (Gray) Mode Defib (Red) Mode Pacer (Green) Mode

    11. Softkey ACLS therapies appear once the Code Marker button has been pressed Press the softkey appropriate therapy or the More softkey to display other therapies/drugs If no softkey is pressed within 10 seconds, a default will appear on the summary report Code Marker Menu
