  2. Purpose of the Program • Federally funded grant • local poverty census • the percentage of free and reduced lunch students • identify most academically needy • targeted academic assistance

Service Delivery Model • Annual allocation determines budgetary plans • Schools receive allocation • Title I committees review data , advise and evaluate related to goals, strategies and actions • School administrators develop, implement, evaluate • Targeted reading assistance • Parent involvement

  4. Progress Toward Previous Program Goal GOAL: The percent of early childhood Title I students who demonstrate kindergarten readiness will increase from 50% to 75%. RESULTS: The results for the first year of the program were 63.9% demonstrated kindergarten readiness.

  5. Progress Toward Previous Program Goal GOAL: The percent of early childhood Title I students who demonstrate kindergarten readiness will increase from 50% to 75%. GOAL STATUS: Progress was made toward achievement of the goal. DEPLOYMENT LEVEL: The program services are in the early stages of deployment in most areas.

Program Goals to be Evaluated • The Title I Program will meet all state and federal compliance requirements. • Title I students will score higher than the state average for Title I students in Communication Arts. • Early childhood Title I students will be academically prepared for kindergarten.

  7. Plan for Evaluation Measurable Outcomes Data Collection Methods • Annually, Park Hill will meet 100% of all state and federal compliance requirements. • Park Hill’s Title I students grades 3-6 will achieve at least one year’s growth in reading scores as measured by Star Reading/Early Literacy. • 80% of early childhood Title I students will be academically prepared for kindergarten. • Assessments • Document reviews
