Proposals by the Management Proposals concerning the participating Organizations/Member StatesAiming at full funding as soon as possible, CERN shall pay special contributions of 60 MCHF per annum into the Pension Fund. These are incorporated in the Organisation’s medium-and long-term planning. In application of the CERN-ESO Agreement, the CERN Council shall ask ESO to pay special contributions into the Pension Fund at a level to be determined by the Actuary (currently estimated at 3 MCHF per annum). Proposals concerning the participating Organizations/current members of the FundAs of 1 January 2011, increase the total annual contribution rate by 3.12 percentage points, from 30.88% to 34%, of which the members of the Fund will have to bear one third.

  4. Proposals by the Management Proposals concerning current beneficiaries of the FundAs an extraordinary measure, no annual adjustment of pensions will be granted to recipients of a pension as at 31 December 2011 until their cumulated loss of purchasing power reaches 8%.  Proposals concerning future members of the Fund / beneficiariesThe Management is committed to start immediately the discussions concerning the 2nd part of the package of measures to be proposed to Council latest in June 2011 for implementation on 1 January 2012.
