The Ready to Work (RTW) program, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), aims to equip K-TAP (Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program) participants with the skills needed for meaningful employment. By providing case management, supportive services, and financial assistance for tuition, RTW fosters student retention and career readiness. Participants benefit from counseling, work-study placements, and connections to local employers, preparing them for long-term success and independence from public assistance. Ultimately, RTW promotes academic achievements and enhances job readiness to support families.
