Objectives and Approaches • Toidentifyeducationalandtrainingneeds in thelabourmarketconcerning IVET. • Toraisethesubjectandenhancetheunderstandingfor a cultureofquality. • To develop, explore and investigatequalitystrategies and qualityassurance in IVET, especially in SME. • Togivepracticableexamplesandimpulsesforachievingandassuringqualitybymakingbetteruseofexistingstandards. • Todisseminatewhatcanbeusefulfor a broadercontext. • Thereforeweadditionallyintegratethe ENIQAB project and cooperatewith DEQA-VET. Facts and Figures • 10 pilotprojectswereselectedbythe Federal Institute forVocational Training (BIBB) whichlaunched in the end of 2010. • Theyarelocatednationwide in different sectors: in theindustry as well as in skilled-craftenterprises and in thearea of health and carefortheelderly. • A teamforexternalscientificsupportandevaluation was setup. • The programmeisscheduled to rununtiltheautumn of 2013. • Bynowover 1400 actors and stakeholdersareinvolved in thepilotprojects.
