  2. Anchor Charts is the NEW buzz word for Cumulative Review Boards! There are some things that are worth repeating; this is one of them. Due to the nature of the beast we have to continue forward daily in order to realize our endeavors of educating our students fully. With this in mind it is quite understandable why we need to post Anchor Charts throughout our classrooms so that our students have a “quick” reference when dealing with concepts not quite “anchored” as they should be. These “anchor” charts are beneficial to the students and to us due to the tiered levels of understanding among our students. Remember, when creating anchor charts that it is not the quantity that matters but the quality. Make sure that the anchor charts that are created and posted for all to see contain “readable, reliable, and relevant” information! Anchors Aweigh!
