If you could be any character from your books, who would you be? I would be Slappy, the doll from the night of the living dummy I, II, and III because he gets away with murder.
How many books have you written in total? I have written over 300 books and, believe it or not, more than 1/3 of them are Goosebumps.
Why did you decide you wanted to write scary books? I’ve always liked scary movies, television shows, and books. I don’t know why though.
Why do you write? To give children the creeps. Plain and simple.
Where do you find your inspiration? Easy. Ray Bradbury, the greatest author ever, besides me, of course.
What do you find difficult about writing? Nothing. I find writing fairly easy.
What is most rewarding about being an author? Entertaining the fans.
