This educational project, designed for sixth-grade classrooms, aims to empower students with knowledge of children's rights both in the United States and globally. Through engaging activities, students will analyze and evaluate rights using relevant reference materials, compare international and state policies, and make personal connections to their rights. The curriculum enhances mapping and charting skills and broadens visual awareness. Over the course of the week, students will explore rights, analyze data, and collaborate on projects, culminating in a deeper understanding of advocacy for children's rights.
