  1. Scapegoat • Definition- Someone else who takes the blame for another • History- The word scapegoat is a mistranslation of the word azazel meaning the goat that departs. As the word had traveled around the globe, the word itself and its definition was modified, until it reached the scapegoat we have today, and it’s meaning.
