  1. What High School Students Should Not Do to Improve Their Academic Performance? High school is a crucial academic stage that often determines your career and future endeavours. As you already know that it is important to get good grades in high school exams, you have to be more sincere about your studies. However, there are some mistakes that high school students often do, which impact their academic performance negatively. So, here we have listed some "DON'Ts" that a high school student should never overlook. Don't shy away from asking questions Students often hesitate when it comes to asking their doubts in front of the whole class, especially those who are introverts. It is a huge mistake to make. Your class teacher is always up for clearing away your doubts, so you must not shy away from asking any question. Moreover, when you ask your doubts to your teachers, it shows your active participation in the classroom. You probably can't go over the next lesson until all your doubts about the previous chapter are clear. Don't sacrifice your sleep during the night Students tend to stay awake all night up, especially during exams. But it is can have adverse effects on your immune system. Staying up all night is not good for both your mental and physical health. There are many ill-effects of not getting proper sleep during the night. Your body needs a rest and an adequate amount of sleep of at least 6 to 7 hours to functions properly.

  2. So, avoid sacrificing your sleep at any cost. Ans always remember that nothing is more important than your health. You can study well only when you are physically and mentally healthy or fit. Don't undervalue tutoring services Getting the professional assistance of tutoring service is a good way to improve your overall academic performance. They can help you in achieving your academic goals by providing one-to-one customized lessons. It is not possible for your school teachers to give undivided attention to each student in a classroom of big size. However, tutoring services have small classroom size that lets them focus on the problems of each student, thus, allowing you to clear away all your doubts. So, get the tutoring help for the subject in which you might be facing a problem or getting low grades. For example, if you are weak in English, or you are not able to understand any grammatical concept, then start looking for English tutoring for high school. You may also hire a tutoring service for all subjects like Maths, Science, etc. Don't hire ghostwriters for your assignments Some students don't do their own assignment, and in the temptation to get good grades, they hire professional ghostwriters for their assignment work. It is not only ethically and morally wrong, but also not suitable for your own academic performance. Do your own work, and don't be afraid of making mistakes! You won't learn until you make mistakes. Try to write your essays and assignment by yourself and ask for help only when you really need it. Instead of hiring ghostwriters, you can take the help of your class teachers or tutors. Thus, these are some significant "DON'Ts" that every high school student should follow to improve their academic performance and make themselves and their loved ones proud.
