And the #1 Way to Lower Your Grade Avoid ever mentioning the “main point” of the project!
One other issue worth mentioning Don’t be a “slacker!”
What are some things you SHOULD do? (in no particular order) • Use the macro I provided. • Incorporate plenty of financial data into your paper (and not just in the valuation section). • Start paper/sections/paragraphs with “main ideas.” • Substantiate your ideas (don’t rely on bullet points). • Take the time to read and edit what your teammates write.
Continued • Take the time to organize your content. • Pick financial metrics to track and use these throughout your paper. • Communicate and cooperate with teammates as much as possible in the next week. • Turn in a professional document.
Some general feedback – reflections on presentations past and present • Simple description of business model • Summarize story before moving into forecasting • Define and track big-picture metrics • Relative valuation metrics • Effectiveness of sensitivity analyses
