  1. Call Off Your Snow Day and Start Training Your Neck When it comes to bodybuilding, many people fail to realise that this concerns every aspect of the body. Too concerned with the size of their legs or arms, much of the time the neck is the most neglected muscle. While the rest of your body is crucial, your neck is always exposed and is a sign of power and brute strength, making neck exercises, a must. You may be one of many who wake up in the morning, look outside the window to the 50 shades of grey that is winter and fall back into your bed. Instead, consider the one part of your body building that you’ve been missing out on: neck training. Neck Training 101 Many people are unaware of how to properly train their neck. This post provided tips to achieving the ultimate neck. Neck training 101, if you will. Here are a few exercisesto start NOW: Neck Rotation This would require you to have a band attached to a pole or power rack, you can find the best quality of these items at TYDAX. This exercise will require you to place the band slightly above your eye level and move away to the extent that the band slightly pulls on your neck as well as your head. While maintaining your posture, rotate your neck from right to left. This should be done for around 50 reps with 2 sets. Neck Flexion Start by wearing a beanie or placing a towel on your forehead to cushion the weight plate. Next you must lie on the bench and make sure you back as well as your legs are hanging on the floor and you place the plate on the towel. Slowly flex your head up till your chin touches the upper chest and repeat for 20 reps with 3 sets. Neck Extension Begin by laying on a bench with your face down and shoulders over the edge. Hold a weight plate against the back of your head and lower your head until you feel a stretch. Slowly and briefly bring your head up and hold the position. This will be 1 rep and you’ll have to complete 3 sets comprising of 20 reps.
