  3. SAL Agent What is SAL? • Sensor Abstraction Layer (SAL) • interfacing tool for managing large networks of sensors. • Multiple, unique devices  one uniform system. • Command-line interface • Textual data only Command-line interface Different sensors

  4. SAL Agent What is SAL-I? • SAL-I is a web-based user interface to SAL • Graphical representation of raw data. • Remote access from anywhere. • Increased user acceptance. • Main Components: SAL-I Application Server Web Interface
