Restore with WSS • Restore a single WSS site as needed using stsadm utility • Stsadm.exe –o restore –url http://server_name/site -filename c:\backup.dat [-overwrite] • 3 options for restoring a site • Restore over an existing site • Restore a site to a new site on the same server • Restore site to a separate server with a separate installation of WSS that uses a copy of the original server’s configuration database
