  4. Our Goal • To spoil our guests with tranquil experiences that will allow them to unwind and rejuvenate.

  5. Geographic Location

  6. Located on Coakley Cay Island, in the ExumaCays, Bahamas • Coakley Cay Island consists of 340 acres • Includes 500 meters of a beautiful sandy beach • The island has an elevation up to 43 feet • There is some wetland on the island including lakes and ponds

  7. Coakley Cay island is one of 360 islands in the Exuma Cays. The Exuma Cays are considered the most beautiful chain of islands in the Bahamas. The Exuma Cays range from 30 miles southeast of Nassau to the Great Exuma Cay in the south. The entire island chain is 130 miles long and 27 sq. miles in area.

  8. Known for world-class sport fishing, boating, diving, and snorkeling • Snorkelers can find shallow coastal regions brimming with life and easy to explore • Divers can explore the huge coral reef or Exuma Sound which is filled with hidden treasures and shipwrecks.

  9. Serenity Island is only 15 miles west of Georgetown. Georgetown is the capitol of Great Exuma Island and was established to honor King George III. The Exuma Cays were first discovered by The Lucayan Indians

Transportation • Use of transporting guests from their arrival to hotel and attractions • No cars; shuttles, trolleys and taxis for guests at own convenience • One main highway departing north, east, west. • Main attractions guests can attend are “day”, “night” resorts, “wave” hotels, spa, and sandwalk. • Two main roads convenient for guests and staff • Each with exits to attractions • All passing police and ambulance stations

Energy and Gas • Provided via Power Plant • Located in southern part of island, away from location of guests • Lines connected throughout island • Generators and back up generators, especially hospital • Natural gas pipelines underlining the island, especially for sandwalk and resorts • Hot water tanks per building with sufficient size, adequate insulation and contamination prevention

Water and Sewage Management • Own water filtration center • Located between “night” resort and “wave” hotels • Location to serve as convenient location for distribution • Water pipes distributing water to every location • Sewage treatment facility located next to power plant in southwest corner • Every location with need will be connected via sewer pipes to facility • Facility removes contaminants from sewage to be reused

Solid Waste Management • Southwest Peninsula lies the main location of the incinerator • Waste transported daily via trucks and recyclables transported separately for reuse • Vital part of waste management operation is time, transportation done early in morning • Provides a clean, soothing atmosphere for guests

Communications • Providing an escape from the “norm” • Cell phones and internet are not primarily used on the island, except by staff • No postal service • Telephone lines travel throughout the entire island • Conference rooms equipped with needed communication programs • Cable television in each hotel room and certain restaurants and bars

  21. Police and Fire Protection • Medical and police posts are located on main road around the tier shaped spa • Staff trained in emergency service • Posts able to contact needed service • Staffed at all resorts and hotels

Landscape • Featuring large pools in each resort with statues and designs fitting basic themes • Surrounding, unused areas will be well-kept grass or sand • Sandwalk maintained with large ledges for each store to keep sand away from establishments • Landscape shaped in order to promote a “welcoming” theme of island • Rely on natural build of island

  26. Coakley Cay Boulevard Our main street on Serenity Island is called Coakley Cay Boulevard. This street runs through our entire island. Coakley Cay Boulevard surrounds our central place and our main wow factor, The Serene Sanctuary.

The Serene Sanctuary • Our number one wow factor on the island is our seven floor spa, “The Serene Sanctuary”. • Certified by LEEDS as a “Green Building” and is constructed completely out of glass. • The seven floors gives this unique building a tier cake shape. • The Serene Sanctuary is very exclusive, there are a limited number of services we can offer you if you are not a member.

Our first floor is our gym that is open to the public, no membership required. • We offer: • Treadmills • Stationary bicycles • Weigh lifting equipment • Ellipticals • Relax and enjoy your workout in our “Judgment Free Zone”. • We also offer fitness classes such as kickboxing, yoga, and even Zumba! • Men’s and Women’s locker rooms are also available so your belongings will be kept safe.

  29. Our second floor is also open to the public and contains our full service and spa. • Unwind and enjoy services such as: • Massages • Couples massages • Mud baths • Facials • All of our service use all natural organic ingredients.

  30. Our second floor also offers a full service salon. • Walk away looking and feeling completely replenished after you’ve experienced our services such as • Manicures • Pedicures • Waxing • We also have a highly rated hair stylists for all your hair styling needs.

Our third through fifth floors are exclusively membership only areas. • Let yourself go while relaxing in our highly extravagant five star spa. • We offer the ultimate in serenity and tranquility with our services like: • Body scrubs • Deep tissue massages • Cold plunge pool • Sunburn therapy • Cellulite therapy

  32. Our more specialized services include: • Swedish massages • Athletic massages • Aromatherapy & Lymphatic massages • You will be guaranteed to leave feeling rejuvenated and revitalized.

  33. The Sixth floor is our pool and Jacuzzi area. • We offer you two large pools as well as two smaller pools. • There are also four Jacuzzi's located through out the sixth floor. • All our pools are heated and range 3feet to seven feet.

We offer daily water aerobics classes as well as water sports tournaments like water volleyball. • As this is located on the sixth floor, you are offered some of the best views the island has to offer. • Have the pleasure of enjoying a refreshing smoothie or alcoholic beverage from our beverage cabana located poolside. • We also have a “Swim By Candlelight” option that is offered after 9pm for our couples.

  35. Our seventh and final floor contains our five star luxury restaurant and bar, “Ambiance From Above”. • We again offer you the best views possible by having the restaurant slowly rotate, exposing you to some amazing scenery. • Our dark yet calming and serene atmosphere is sure to impress.

  37. The Sandwalk This wow factor is never seen before! The Coakley Cay Sandwalk is a promenade made from the marvelous Caribbean sand. There are restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shopping areas that sit directly off of the sandwalk. It is a great attraction offered to tourists during the day and all night long!

  39. There are three separate bars, along with stores and shops on the sandwalk . There is also our signature café, The Tea Stop. There are seven different high end stores and there are 17 other shops that are not considered high-end, such as: souvenir shops, shoes stores, a gourmet chocolate factory, other clothing shops, hotdog and pizza stands, and ice cream parlors.

Sporting Activities There are three separate areas designed for our water sports: The first spot is designated for activities such as: water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, boating, windsurfing, wakeboarding, and tubing. The second area is strictly for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The third vicinity is an enclosed area where guests can swim with dolphins. Jet skis, wakeboards, tubes, and other equipment can be rented at the entrance of the first two vicinities.
