Positive Feedback on FCIS & SACS Joint Accreditation Evaluation

The FCIS and SACS joint accreditation evaluation was completed on March 18, 2008, with positive feedback reported. Accreditation is vital as it ensures adherence to high educational standards, guarantees the acceptance of graduates' credits in the U.S. and abroad, enables AYA to certify its teachers, facilitates membership in more organizations, and provides opportunities for staff development and scholarships for AYA graduates. FCIS currently accredits 159 independent schools in Florida and is part of the National Association of Independent Schools.
