  1. Physical Science Binder System Mr. White 2013-14 You will need space in a binder. You do NOT have to have a separate Science binder. You will need 5 tab dividers dedicated to Science. Save your labels as it will help you stay organized. A majority of students wanted to keep vocab in binder, so here’s the expectations

  2. Tab 1 Warm ups • This will include your daily warm-up • This will also include your HR warm-up on Wednesday • Date each warm up • Fill up your paper, do not just put one warm-up per page.

  3. Tab 2 Vocabulary • All vocabulary should be housed here. • For each term I want the word, definition, an example and a picture. • You may use a printed picture if you can’t draw. • You understood homework is to review current unit vocab nightly, 20-30 minutes. • You may still make notecards but they will not be checked/graded in class.

  4. Tab 3 Notes • Class notes and daily work go here. • This includes PowerPoint, Practice problems and video notes. • If I collect video notes put them back here when you get them back.

  5. Tab 4 Labs • All lab handouts, report sheets and other lab data go here. • When I return a lab to you put it back here. • Any Science fair information should also go here if you are participating

  6. Tab 5 Graded work • Any other graded work not mentioned for other tabs will go here. • This includes quizzes, homework, project information, rubrics, and other grades. • Hole punch returned work so you don’t lose it

  7. Assessment • I will check note book a minimum of monthly. • My goal is to check twice a month. • I will check for 5 correct tabs in order for the first check on day one of the new nine weeks. • This date is October 7th a Monday. • Other checks may not be announced • BE PREPARED!!!
