Ten Tenets of Accreditation • Document • Maintain evidence of what’s happening and what you’re doing • Assess • Identify and measure outcomes directly related to our mission, vision, and goals • Change • Improve practice based upon the analysis of data • Credential • Demonstrate the qualifications of our faculty and administrators • Justify • Make a case for why you’re doing what you’re doing • Study • Know the standards and what successful practice looks like • Listen • Meet with constituents and gather information and guidance • Communicate • Tell others about what you’re doing, and solicit their support and help • Lead • Guide others to follow your example • Write • Narrate your story
