The 2006-2007 CSULB Student Profiles Survey, part of UCLA’s CIRP, explores the demographics and aspirations of students. This annual instrument, revised to address academic community needs, includes data on gender, ethnicity, first-generation status, and political views. Administered to freshmen and transfer students, it reveals significant trends, including that 73% of freshmen and 67% of transfer students aspire to graduate degrees.
