CAP Membership Card Changes • Effective 1 Oct 10 currentblue ID card no longer issued • Senior and Cadet members 18 and over new photo card issued no charge as they join or renew • Seniors with no photo on file, and other categories will be issued the newly designed ID card without photo • All senior members required to • have photo on file by 1 Jan 2012 • Duplicate or replacement ID cards will cost $3.00 • Members changing category receive new card at no cost • Personal info (height, weight, etc.) will no longer be printed on back side of card

  6. Equipment Upgrades • New vehicles purchased • 2009 – 98 • 2010 – 99 • New planes purchased • 2009 – 19 • 2010 – 12 • $33M in communication equipment over the past several years • 325 computers placed into the field each year

  7. Consolidated Maintenance • 51 wings / 523 aircraft under contract • WA currently has a consolidated maintenance proposal under review • 97% complete deploying consolidated aircraft maintenance to all wings

CAP Audit Analysis • Financial Management – Second unqualified audit opinion • CAP received its second unqualified financial audit opinion since the inception of the cooperative agreement in FY01 • An unqualified audit opinion rendered by an external auditor provides the highest level of assurance of fiscal responsibility • CAP is committed to accountability and transparency in financial management • CAP has received unqualified A-133 compliance audits since FY04

  12. Surrogate Predator Surrogate Predator Green Flag operations began in LA in Oct 2009 and in NV in July 2010 Goal: Train US ground forces in Predator ops before they deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan

Aerospace Education (AE) • EXTERNAL PROGRAM OUTREACH • Aerospace Education Members (AEMs) • 1,600 teacher members and increasing • Over 100,000 students impacted annually • K-12 Aerospace Education Excellence (AEX) Program • 657 classrooms participated in ’09-’10 Academic Year (AY) • Reached over 40,000 students • K-6 Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) Program • Elementary classroom program involving almost 400 teachers, in 30 states, and impacting about 11,000 students (69% growth from last year) • Partnership support from the Air Force Association and FLIR Systems, Inc. • Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights • Over 250 teachers in 16 wings flown in FY10 • Over 15,000 students impacted from teacher’s flight experience • Commanders—Visit CAP AE Website for step-by-step guidance

Public Affairs – National Publicity • PA National Publicity Report • To date, CAP has been mentioned in 6,775 newspaper clips and TV/radio reports in FY10 • CAP was included in oil spill media reports • CBS Evening News – More than 5 million viewers • CBS News – 85 affiliates nationwide • NHQ/PA relationships with General Aviation News and the Aero-News Network – two national .com sites • Added publicity evident during CAP’s response to spring flooding in the upper Midwest
