  3. SCORE • What is SCORE? • It is the Standing Committee on Research Exchange. • Was the second committee to be initiated after SCOPE. • Part of the international Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA).

Today… • > 1700 exchanges/year • 67 countries involved • 1945 research projects • 484universities around the world • 50 medical fields involved ( Neuroscience, Immunology, Epidemiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Surgery, Global Health &NTDs, Physchaitry, Nuclear Medicine, Laser Medicine, Oncology, Medical Ethics, Infectious Diseases, Pediatrics, Biophyscis, Obs&Gyn…)

  5. SCORE • In Oman? • Initiated 2 yrs back with a team of 17 members. • Today: • National Officer (NORE): Saif AL Ghaffri. • Starting Uni-lateral Exchange for the first time in Oman

  6. Our beginning • We signed contracts with 5 countries = 6 units ( Germany, Italy, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt ) • It will be a unique and one in a life experience (WE CAN GUARANTEE THAT)

But WHY to GO? • Visits another country. • Will have a Research Experience. • Enjoy the social program. • Present the research in students conferences all over the world (specially the GCC Conference) • This research may Help students in Phase Two • Will be good in your C.V. for future residency program.
