  5. Sample My name is Wang Ming. A week ago I saw a traffic accident, which is still vivid in my mind now. It was at about 9:00 on Sunday morning, June 15. I was walking leisurely on the sidewalk when I heard a loud crashing noise. Chapter VI: Exposition

  6. Sample Two cars at the junction about 10 meters away from me knocked into each other. I went up and found that the cars were both badly damaged. Both roofs were out of shape. A door of a car was knocked off and lying on the road. Chapter VI: Exposition

  7. Sample One driver was bleeding and the other was stuck tightly in his seat. Some people were trying to help the driver get out of the damaged car. One man was calling the traffic police station. A lot of cars were jammed on the road. Chapter VI: Exposition

  8. Sample As far as I can see, three factors contributed to the accident. First, both of the two cars were driving too fast as the drivers were too eager taking more passengers to notice the speed. Second, Chapter VI: Exposition

  9. Sample the driver who wanted to overtake the other should have turned on the left indicator so that the car in front could make way for him.   14. Sample: I was then waiting to cross the street at the traffic lights when I saw a man walking quickly trying to cross the road. He didn’t seem to notice that the traffic lights were red. Just then, a blue Iveco rushed towards him. The car was so fast that it couldn’t stop though the driver braked very hard. The brakes screeched when the car stopped but it was too late.   15. Sample: I think three factors contributed to the accident. First, the man should have used the footbridge which was just near him. Second, he should have waited for the traffic lights to become green before crossing the road. Last, the driver is to blame, too. He shouldn’t have driven so fast in such a busy street. All this led to the accident. Neither of them observed traffic regulations, and that’s why the accident was inevitable. Chapter VI: Exposition
