Represents the convergence of • IT • Communication • Entertainment • Has changed the way we • Present & Absorb Information • Communicate • Entertain ourselves • A US$ 60 Billion Industry worldwide • The Indian Animation Industry stands at US$ 500 Million • NASSCOM estimates that the industry is growing at 30% annually and projected to grow to above US$ 4 Billion by 2012 • Mega Success of movies like Fantastic Four, The Dark Knight, The Incredibles, Wall-E and Indian productions like Alpha & Omega, Toonpur ka Superhero, Roadside Romeo, Hanuman Returns etc. have propelled more and more producers to explore Animation as a highly creative and rewarding option.

The right combination of creative and affordable talent puts India as the most preferred destination for outsourced animation work specially in 3D. • More recently, India is becoming an international hub for Stereoscopy and VFX associated projects after AVATAR, Chronicals of Narnia etc have been launched in 3D • Television and Film Industry is one of the biggest consumers of Computer Animation & Visual Effects • The Gaming Industry is twice the size of Hollywood and pegged at US$ 15 Billion worldwide • New Media Entertainment trends call for massive use of Computer Generated Content & Animation
