  4. SENR Considerations • Active student record as of CBEDS • Pay attention to start and end dates • Primary enrollments only • EnrollmentStatusCode = 10 • Secondary enrollments are not considered • Unique list of students • Make sure every student that was enrolled as of CBEDS has active record • Most of your apportionment

  5. SPRG Considerations • Active record • Start and end dates • ProgramCode • NSLP = 181 or 182 • Migrant Ed = 135 • Must have new record for each school year for NSLP

  6. SINF Considerations • Active record • Start and end dates • PrimaryResidenceCode • Foster = 210 • Homeless = 100, 110, 120, or 130 • EnglishLanguageAcquisitionStatus (ELAS) • EL • Fix ALL TBD statuses

  7. SINF Considerations Cont. • Possible to identify NSLP addresses • Has one student been marked FRPM eligible at one address, and another student at the same address is not? • Are there other investigative techniques we can utilize to capture ALL EL/LI students?

  11. Data DataData • Continually audit your CALPADS data for any anomalies • All enrollments are taken care of, with primary enrollment codes • Start and end dates capture all students that it should for all three extracts (SENR, SINF, SPRG) • All students participating in educational programs have an active record for that program, especially migrant education and NSLP • Student information is up to date, including accurate primary residence codes and ELAS • Do my percentages coincide with historical data?

  12. Breakdowns *Remember, it’s the unduplicated count of students

  13. Spreadsheet Grade level included/not included lists FRPM Eligible but not marked for NSLP Found at NSLP Address but not NSLP ELAS is TBD, needs updating Black text indicates a calculated field independent of any data source
