Financing the Future Event – North Carolina’s economy and population have changed dramatically over the last century, yet our financial systems have remained relatively stagnant. We need a tax system that provides sufficient revenues as North Carolina struggles to find sustainable revenue streams for the fundamental goods and services it provides, and for the growth that is expected in the years ahead. This program will give some ideas on how that might be accomplished.

Mission - To be a resource and advocate for the business community in legal and other developments regarding healthcare, immigration and labor law.
Goals
To stay abreast of federal and state issues that relate to the HILL Committee
To educate the business community in those issues, and to mobilize management and proactively influence legislation where needed
To help publicize the reality that being “pro business” means being “pro employee” – and that overly expansive labor and employment, immigration and healthcare laws which unduly restrict business actually work against employees!
