    1. A Safe Environment? Nursing Facility Evaluation and Investigation The Oklahoma Adult Protective Services Long Term Care Investigations Unit APS/LTCI

APS/LTCI Investigate ANE when a facility staff member is the perpetrator Investigate in nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICF/MR) facilities & Oklahoma veteran centers. County APS worker investigate all outside perpetrators and assisted living and residential care centers and DHS licensed group homes. Office of Client Advocacy investigates State run ICF/MR

    3. Oklahoma State Department of Health Investigates violations of federal nursing home law and the Oklahoma Nursing Home Care Act Oklahoma State Long Term Care Ombudsman investigates all complaints, especially those related to resident’s rights, for residents 60 & over, and resolves issues to the residents satisfaction. Oklahoma Attorney General investigates and facilitates prosecution of ANE in facilities licensed by Oklahoma & residential care facilities.
