RICH and EMC Data Acquisition Challenges and Resource Planning

Two ROC boards remain in the East arm, and efforts are ongoing to simultaneously capture RICH and ERT data. However, DAQ issues have hindered progress. Tada-aki Isobe is leading these efforts, with a target completion date set for December 25th. Team members are coordinating schedules, with Fukutaro traveling to Japan and Koichi Kato along with Narumi Kurihara addressing timing concerns. After December 30th, Kensuke will have limited availability. Additional manpower is needed for the successful installation and checking of ROC boards.

  1. RICH status • Two ROC boards are still in the East arm. • We are trying to take the RICH and ERT data simultaneously. We did not yet succeed, mainly because of DAQ problem. Tada-aki Isobe is still trying. We will finish it by Dec. 25th. • Fukutaro go to Japan today. Koichi Kato and Narumi Kurihara will take care of the timing issue.

  3. Man power (Before 12/26) • RICH • Tada-aki Isobe, Kyoichiro (turn-on curve) • EMC • Kensuke (Super Module connection) • LL1 • Frank

  4. ROC install (12/26) • RICH expert: • Kyoichiro Ozawa, Narumi Kurihara, Taku Gunji, and Koichi Kato. • EMC expert: • Kensuke will work until 14:00 • Probably, we need another person. • Another man power • Frank, Matthias and … • Procedure • Kensuke and I will prepare the procedure of the install and check of the ROC boards.

  5. Commission (12/27-) • RICH expert • Narumi, Koichi • EMC expert • NO expert, from 12/27 to 12/30 • After 12/30, Kensuke can work partially. • We should have another person. • Blue logic • Narumi, Matthias?, Frank?
