(What is Urinary Tract Infection?) यू.टी.आई तब होता है जब मूत्राशय और इसकी नली बैक्टीरिया से संक्रमित हो जाती है। ई-कोलाई बैक्टिरीया का संक्रमण इसका मूल कारण होता है। इस समस्या के कुछ कारण है जैसे, सेक्स, लम्बे समय तक पेशाब रोके रखना, गर्भावस्था, रजोनिवृत्ति और शुगर। मूत्र पथ के संक्रमण, पुरुषों की तुलना में महिलाओं में अधिक आम है। आधी महिलाओं को उनके जीवन में कम से कम एक बार संक्रमण होता है।

Continue.. मूत्र मार्ग संक्रमण मूत्र तंत्र के किसी भी हिस्से में होने वाला संक्रमण है। • मूत्राशय का संक्रमण (Cystitis or Bladder infection)– यह मूत्राशय के भीतर होने वाला बैक्टीरिया संक्रमण है। कमजोर इम्यून सिस्टम वाले लोगों में यीस्ट भी मूत्राशय के संक्रमण का कारण है। • मूत्रमार्ग संक्रमण (Urethritis or Urethra infection)– इसमें मूत्रमार्ग में सूजन होने की वजह से मूत्र त्यागने में दर्द की अनुभूति होती है। • गुर्दा संक्रमण (Pyelonephritis or Kidney infection)– यह किडनी में होने वाला संक्रमण जिससे किडनी में गंभीर रूप से इन्फेक्शन हो जाता है। इस स्थिति में अस्पताल में भर्ती करने की आवश्यकता पड़ सकती है। इसमें बुखार, पेशाब में खून और श्रोणि में दर्द होता है। गर्भवती महिलाओं को यह संक्रमण होने की सम्भावना अधिक होती है।
