  4. HERE IS THE NEW CD OF GREGORIAN CHANTS Made by the Franciscan Nuns of Paderno Dugnano (MI) Italy Realized to the construction of the new Monastery “Mary Mother of the Church”

  5. In our vast and heavily populated parish area, there isn’t a cloistered place of worship, a permanent and visible sign of the absolute primacy of God. Please support the Franciscan nuns, as it is a privilege to have a place dedicated to the holiness of God and to continuous prayer (even at night), for the many needy families.

  6. .. FRANCIS GO, REPAIR MY HOUSE, REBUILD MY CHURCH FOR IT IS FALLING APART… The Franciscan cloistered nuns TOR take the chance to thank all those who have requested the first CD dedicated to Our Lady. (the first CD had very good sales and the copies are almost all gone)

  7. Unfortunately the construction of the new Monastery had to stop for economic shortage, but now with the aid of Providence, of the new born association “Friends of the Monastery” and also your internet help , it has resumed with renewed enthusiasm. Such is the wish expressed by our Pope Benedict XVI, of “Reassessing the Gregorian chant”, and thus this beautiful new CD wants to be the experience of encounter with Jesus Christ retracing all his life . It is also enriched with a valuable booklet with texts in different languages (Italian, Latin, English and Spanish).

  9. Rev. Giacomo Tagliabue has for years hosted the nuns, but now, unfortunately, the lodgings are no more suitable to monastic life and to recollection in contemplative silence. There is no cloister and the rooms are old and must be restored for hygiene and safety reasons. And within those walls, cloistered nuns spend all their entire life.

  10. …and it is precisely at their door and to those walls that every day many people knock for help and support in work, serious illness, bereavement, existential suffering, and so on: - women tempted by abortion - needy immigrants - disoriented young people -men and women facing serious problems… But for all them the nuns give a smile, offer their kindness and care, give hope, advice and their precious promise of a prayer… And people leave strengthen, comforted, more confident or simply heartened because of these nun’s clear eyes, sincere heart and open minds that made them feel precious and dear.

  11. Mother Theresa had this rule: “First of all we must have silence : silence of the mind, silence of the eyes, silence of the tongue”. Only in this method is possible to pray. Rev. Giacomo Tagliabue hosts Mother Theresa (in Suello-Lecco - Italy) “Everyone sometimes has the desire to leave the clatter of everyday’s life and find some quite place of silence and solitude”.
