  3. These interactive slides include text boxes or objects that students can move around on the screen. Drag & Drop

  4. Drag & Drop 1. Decide on the type of interactive activity you would like to set-up. 2. Create/SAVE: A. a Templatein PowerPoint(.pptx) OR B. Start from scratch in Blackboard Collaborate (.wbd) 3. If you chose to create a template in PowerPoint, upload the template (.pptx) file to your Virtual Classroom in Blackboard. 4. Copy and paste clip art/ photos to the templateslide in Blackboard, or add separate text boxes/shapes you would like students to move around. Place them where you want them to appear. Copy and Pasting techniques: Hold: Ctrl C = copy, Hold: Ctrl V = paste Right Click Image, Right Click and Paste Drag the image from the source and drop it into the template

  5. Drag & Drop SAVING your Interactive Slide(s) 5. Click File, Save, Whiteboard and save as a .wbd(file type) (To save multiple slides in a row- Hold down the Crtl button as you select) 6. Close all programs 7. Upload the whiteboard file(s), (.wbd) you just created into Blackboard and make sure your manipulatives are there! *If you open the .wbd file on your computer without uploading to Blackboard, your file will appear blank. It will appear correctly when you upload it to your in Blackboard.
