Guest House of Milwaukee Counseling Clinic The GHCC is a WI State Certified Substance Abuse & Mental Health Clinic located in the Guest House of Milwaukee, a men’s homeless shelter & permanent housing provider. The GH Clinic provides Substance Abuse Day Tx & OP Tx & Mental Health OP Tx to the residents as well as Recovery Support Services to permanent housing individuals.

  3. Aim • Increase the number of billable funding sources for Mental Health & Substance Abuse services by becoming a Medicaid Certified Clinic

  9. Results Billable Revenue Sources June 2011 Billable Revenue Sources January 2011 Baseline: January 2011 = 3 Billable Revenue Sources After Fee-for-Service Project: June 2011 = 5 Billable Revenue Sources Total Change: 62% Increase in Billable Revenue Services

  10. Next Steps Target date to test 1st Medicaid authorization system is June 14, 2011 Modify authorization & billing systems as needed We will continue to stay updated with HIPPA IT guidelines as necessary.

  11. Impact We will be less dependent on the WIserChoice System Learning how to become a Medicaid provider will help us in the future when we join other insurance panels
