MN LOE 1 – investigated Coalition military planning in an experimental combined joint task force within a distributed, multinational collaborative information environment (2001) MN LOE 2 - studied the development of a Coalition operational net assessment (ONA), which encompasses a product, process, and organization focused on developing a detailed understanding of the operational environment (2003) MNE 3 - issues associated with Coalition Interagency Coordination Group; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR); multinational information sharing; logistics; coalition-based health services support; information operations; and knowledge management (2004)  MNE 4 - explored how the DIME(Diplomatic, Information, Military, Economy) elements of the effects-based approach to operations (EBAO) affect the behavior of adversaries.  (2006) MNE 5 - explored a Multinational, interagency, comprehensive engagement strategy, which incorporates government, non-government, and private organizations, using all national and international elements of power, to influence a stable international environment (2007)

  12. Coalition forces, interagency and relevant partners possess an improved ability to assess campaign progress and success to enable adaptation during employment of direct and indirect approaches to countering irregular threats and the activities of non-compliant actors Outcome 3

  13. Develop a prototype capability for coalition commanders to assess campaign progress (successes and failures) across all relevant domains, military and civil, objective and subjective. Prototype should enable the coalition commander to provide cogent reporting to civilian leadership as well as to manage operational campaign.   15. Develop an improved ability for coalition forces and partners to promote a cross-cultural awareness of the operational environment in order to contribute to a shared situational understanding.   16. Provide validated interventions / recommendations which lead to improved logistics information sharing between nations and the coalition logistics commander in order to facilitate more effective logistics support when countering activities of irregular adversaries and other non-compliant actors Contributors: AUS, CAN, DEU, FIN, GBR, SWE, NATO/ACT, NOR, GRC, PRT Products: Report of validated recommendations to LOG FS CP Operational Logistics Chain Management and identified customers in NATO, JS/J4 and partner nations Objective 4.4

Develop guidance for the multinational logistician which provides a strategic and operational level concept of use (rules, tools, and processes) for logistics information sharing, situational understanding, synchronized efforts and progress assessment in concert with IA partners, NGOs and other stakeholders within the context of countering activities of irregular adversaries and other non-compliant actors Contributors: AUS, CAN, DEU, FIN, GBR, GRC, NATO / ACT, NOR, PRT, SWE Products: Recommendations of changes to existing rules, tools and processes for information exchange btw national systems and LOGFAS Recommend changes to existing NATO doctrine, procedures and training to facilitate the usefulness of LOGFAS/LOGREP Evaluation and recommendations of methodologies to facilitate further integration of interagency and NGO logistics information sharing for coalition SA Objective 4.5
