  1. Bridget Kilcommons Head Trainer K9 Tailshakers, Inc.

  2. Bridget Kilcommons began working with dogs as a young girl in Conformation and Jr. Showmanship in 1977 and has continued to work with dogs to date. She was the Head Obedience Instructor for the "Chicago Pet Boutique" for 14 years, Teaching All Breed Group Obedience Classes, Private Obedience Classes and Behavior Consultation Services where she specialized in Large and Working Breeds, Aggression problems and Difficult Cases. Bridget has been with K9 Tailshakers since 2006 and has been a vital part of K9TS’s success in achieving such outstanding and highly recommended training programs. Bridget is a Canine Good Citizenship Evaluator for the AKC, a Full Member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and a Professional Member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals).  She is also a Member in Good Standing with Schutzhund USA and NARA (North American Ring Association). Bridget has been Guest Speaker on Dog Care and Safety for Children’s Groups and teaches many different seminars and workshops relating to Dog Behavior. As a Mother of 2 Young Children she is educated first hand in living with and balancing life with Dogs and Children in a Home Environment. Bridget fiercely opposes and fights against BSL and strives for Quality of Life for Dogs as well as Safety for Children. Bridget comes highly recommended by many clients, veterinarians as well as rescue groups and we are very lucky to have her here at K9TS.

  3. “Grace & Michael”Grace 14 years old and Michael 11years old are Bridget’s Pride and Joy. Both children also share a love of animals and dog training just like their mother. Often you will see Michael and Grace about the training floor helping their mom and participating in many training events. Michael loves to play Basketball and Grace loves to compete in Irish Dance. Both Michael and grace are honor students. Grace was in the National Jr. Honor Society and her son Michael won the Rotary Club Award.

  4. “Alabama” Alabama a 14 year old Belgian Malinois is one of Bridget’s working and family companions. Alabama is loved and respected by many in the “Sport” dog world and has earned every bit of it with many titles and high scoring competitions. “Alabama” AKA “Bama” is now retired although we are all still blessed from time to time to see her come out for a few rounds of what she loves and does best!

  5. “Macho”Macho an 8 year old Belgian Malinois of Bridget’s that also works in personal protection. Macho is a true lover and protector of his family and loves to snuggle!
