  1. IAIM Regional Meetings (2014) and IAIM Conference (2015) Presentation by Prof. David Salisbury President, IAIM ad hoc Governing Council March 20, 2014 Inaugural IAIM Webinar

IAIM Regional Meetings • Purpose: To give immunization managers and other immunization professionals a forum to discuss any management issues they would like in an informal setting with other immunization managers from their region • Regions are defined as WHO regions • Each region will have one Regional Meeting between 2014 and 2017 Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  3. IAIM Regional Meetings • Meeting agendas will be driven by the needs of immunization managers within each region, and can be less structured than a formal meeting • Meetings will be two days in length • Meetings will be chaired by an IAIM ad hoc GC member from that region Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  4. IAIM Regional Meetings- Tentative Dates and Locations • First two Regional Meetings will be for the African region and Middle East region • African Regional Meeting: Late September/early October 2014, location TBD • Middle East Regional Meeting: Oct 28-29, 2014, location TBD Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  5. IAIM Conference 2015 • Objective : To convene the Association’s membership to foster exchange of information and ideas, learning opportunities, and professional networking • Will consist of: • Informational sessions delivered by expert speakers • Networking sessions where immunization professionals can meet and discuss experiences, challenges, and success stories • Presentations by Association members on selected topics Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  6. IAIM Conference 2015 Activities: • Electing a new Governing Council • Holding informational sessions on topics of interest to members • Holding informal breakout discussions • Holding networking sessions • Ratifying the proposed bylaws • Informing members on the current status of association affairs and benefits • Receiving feedback from members on how the Association can better support its members Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  7. Electing new Governing Council • Call for nominations for individuals who wish to serve on the first elected Governing Council opens in November 2014 • Please visit IAIM website after August 2014 for further details Inaugural IAIM Webinar

  8. IAIM Conference 2015 • IAIM Conference registration is FREE for members • Tentative date and location for first IAIM Conference: March 2015, tentatively in Istanbul, Turkey Inaugural IAIM Webinar
