This assignment examines the motivations behind migration to the English colonies, explores major exports, and analyzes population statistics. Students will identify three reasons for colonist migration and assess which exports were most profitable. Additionally, they will reflect on the achievements and challenges of seeking freedom in the colonies. A review of various documents will allow students to compare their values and limitations, interpret differing viewpoints on European arrivals in the Americas, and identify which perspectives may be more reliable.
