Spiritual Powers • The “Old Age” is in the grasp of evil supernatural powers: • Fallen Angels – turn people away from God • Demons – connected with idolatry • Devil/Satan – blind people from the saving power of the Gospel –and– frustrate the redemptive purposes of God. • Angelic Spirits – (ie, rule, authority, powers and thrones) evil and in opposition to the Kingdom of God.
