This system allows federal programs personnel in the Union County School District to manage and report accurate information on homeless students. It includes modules for services provided and barriers faced.

Federal Programs Personnel • Username for Student Data Package and MSIS • Federal personnel must be marked appropriately in MSIS. • District person assigned personnel rights is the only person/s who can run a report. • Report must be accurate. • Information is reported to ED. • Federal Program Director needs to have a copy of the report to verify the data.

Homeless Services Provided • Addressing needs related to domestic violence • Assistance with participation in school programs • Before- and after-school, mentoring, summer programs • Clothing to meet a school requirement • Coordination between schools and agencies • Counseling • Early childhood programs • Emergency assistance related to school attendance • Expedited evaluations • Obtaining or transferring records necessary for enrollment • Parent education related to rights and resources for children • Referrals for medical, dental, and other health services • Referral to other programs and services • School supplies • Staff professional development and awareness • Transportation • Tutoring or other instructional support
