  2. #1 National Recommendation: Put DD councils, P&As, UCEDDs on the same planning cycle to: - address self-advocacy together -collaborate with self-advocates -address systemic issues -allow self-advocates to have input on network priorities and goals

  3. #2 National Recommendation: Pull federal agencies together to talk about improving transportation for people with disabilities, especially in rural areas

  4. #3 National Recommendation: Work with the Department of Education to allow self-advocates and others to go into schools to: -talk about issues -provide information about resources - provide education about disability history and awareness -teach the “Everybody Counts” program (bullying prevention) -transition to adult services -access to services and resources
