This project aims to develop a system for real-time hand tracking in front of a monitor. By accurately determining the position of a user's hand, the goal is to create an inexpensive alternative to traditional touch screens, termed "The Poor Man's Touch Screen." This innovative approach leverages active shape models to facilitate seamless user interaction without the need for expensive technology. The system promises to enhance user experiences in various applications such as gaming, education, and everyday computing.
