The Fall 2010 survey collected feedback from 46 coaches regarding the BSS soccer program, focusing on coaching experience, rule changes, team sizes, and overall direction. Key findings revealed that a significant number of coaches have less than two years of experience, with mixed opinions on goalies and new rule implementations. Recommendations emerged for smaller team sizes, updated training resources, and improved officiating. Coaches expressed the need for more structured training and support mechanisms to foster engagement in the program. Next steps involve prioritizing feedback for upcoming seasons.

Next Steps • Prioritize all recommendations • Focus on 1-2 items for 2011 Fall Implementation • Also look to implement “easy-fixes” for Spring season • Solicit working groups (board and non-board members) to lead proposal details for structural change items • Look to finalize working groups at end of Spring season for Fall 2011 implementation • Plan on a Survey on an annual basis
