Purpose Slide 02 (of 22) www.btwholesale.com/simple Navigation Restart MAIN PAGE End PURPOSE OF THIS FILE SIMPLE is a BT Wholesale tool set up for all our customers to help in understanding the BT Conveyance invoice. This file aims to provide on overview of all sections within SIMPLE (at April 2010) in an interactive easy to use tutorial. Navigation buttons at the top right of the screen allow the user to start afresh, go straight to the end or return to the main page to look at another SIMPLE feature. Screen dumps held within this file may change as SIMPLE is developed but the general principles can be grasped from these examples. Should you feel this site will be useful to any of your colleagues, just pass on the URL or download this file for them; there are no login restrictions. Particularly note the Frequently Asked Questions page where we hope to build explanations beneficial to all our customers and where we provide an e-mail address to comment on SIMPLE and/or this tutorial. There are currently (at April 2010) only a few slides attached that describe the charge bands for BT terminating and CP originated transit via BT calls. Whilst the provided link to the EBC pages takes you to a schedule of publication dates and other information such as how to apply for access to the EBC files, SIMPLE needs to be expanded to meet our customers needs. CPL lookups Slide 21 (of 22) www.btwholesale.com/simple Navigation Restart MAIN PAGE End This file matches up elements of the BT invoice, for BT Terminating calls, with the Carrier Price List sections holding the applicable prices. The invoice is broken down into report numbers which are broken down further into report lines. The most appropriate look up reference has been used. Transit report line mappings Slide 20 (of 22) www.btwholesale.com/simple Navigation Restart MAIN PAGE End The transit (03A) section of the invoice can be very large and difficult to reconcile to the Carrier Price List. This file provides all the current invoice report lines matched to exact CPL references (charge band and Communications Provider name) allowing look ups to be made; BT termination rate lookups can be found in the third link on the page the example of this is to the right of this one. It has two worksheets: one provides pricing components referenced from the Carrier Price List and the second, as shown, combines them into EBC prices.
