  8. FANTASTIC FACTS Did you know that… • There are only 17 species of penguins left in the entire world? • Penguins are the only birds in the world that can’t fly. The reason I chose the PENGUIN as my endangered animal project is because I wanted to know if they live in places other than Antarctica. I also wanted to know what types of fish they eat. Before I did this project I was wondering why penguins are endangered.
