    8. Large Grants (in addition to the common components, large grants have the following: 1. Detailed instructions 2. Specific forms to fill out 3. More rigorous proof of experience of PIs 4. Proof of success with previous grants

    9. Large Grants-cont 5. Requires that smaller institutions must collaborate with the larger research institutions and maintain that collaboration 6. Extensive review of literature that is kept up to date 7. Cutting edge research 8. Lengthy instructions

    17. Large Grants Even though Large Grants look menacing, with a division of labor between a group of collaborators who have a plan for a well thought out project, a large grant is not so different from a small grant. A large grant just takes longer to write!
