  2. The meaning of “be going to” future forms “Be going to” is usually used when something is already planned or definite. Look at the difference between these sentences: I'll make the supper tonight.(Making a decision/volunteering to do something.)I'm going to make the supper every Wednesday.(This is already planned and organized.)   3. USAGE OF GOING TO You can use "be going to + verb" when you want to talk about what you have decided to do or what you intend to do (in the future). I am going to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. = I intend to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning.
