  1. BLESSED SACRAMENT SCHOOL MOTHER’S GUILD NEWSLETTER – February 2013

  2. A Note from Our Principal Mrs. Magnusson Dear Parents: February is going quickly. We hope you had an enjoyable winter break. We are in the process of taking new student applications for the 2013 – 2014 school year. Please inquire in the office if you are interested. Also, if you have not re-registered please do so as soon as possible so that we can determine how many seats we have in a given class. We are now in the season of Lent. We will be collecting baby bottles for the Crossroads Foundation. This is a wonderful charity that assists young mothers. Also, we will be going to Reconciliation and Stations of the Cross. Thank you for all your assistance with the IRIS alert. It has been a great communication tool. Remember to check your child’s/children’s grades on line periodically. There have been some issues with this system, however, the system is being redone by Cornerstone who will replace SIS. The new system promises to be more user friendly. Hope to see you at the next Mother’s Guild Meeting.

  3. February 2013 Meeting February is Women’s Heart Health Month! We will have a special presentation to make sure we all know the facts about how to have a healthy heart. This month’s meeting will be on Monday, February 25th at 7:30pm. So please join us on this night not only for information about our children’s education, but also to receive spiritual hope from one another, and to get the heart facts we all should know. We hope to see all of you there. Meeting Set Up 4th Grade Mother’s are asked to setup/clean up for February’s Meeting. (Participation in this is a requirement if you wish to serve as a future class mother). Please arrive no later than 7:00pm. The theme of the meeting is, “Healthy Heart, Healthy You”

  5. IN THE NEWS CAFETERIA REVAMPING PROJECT (Picture on page 12) The Cafeteria Mural was completed this week, and will hopefully bring joy and smiles to the children, adults, teachers, lunch mothers, and all who enter that room. This project (CORE VALUES MURAL) couldn’t have come together without the dedication of those who put their all into it. Round the clock, countless hours over the winter break, were dedicated to this beautiful project from those involved. The volunteers who helped out with this. Christine and Rob Miuccio, Marlene Boyd, Laura Dispirito, Diana and Anthony Antonaros, Joseph Antonaros, Amy Rikic, and Robert Falcone were all amazing. This idea could not have come together without the brains and artistic abilities of Kristen Arpaia, and last but not least, Kristine Boussios....who there really are not enough words of praise and thanks for all that she has done with this mural. She called it my (Kerry Falcone's) baby- and she says she “is just the Godmother who simply assisted with its birth". She is more than that. Her heart is on that wall. Thank you, Thank you. - Kerry Falcone FLYER WATCH (you should have seen these!) - Father-Daughter Dance - Fashion Show Invitations - Disney Park Hopper Raffle
