    2. Helping people cope

    4. Many people all kinds of emotional and psychological in their lives, which may be brought on by such things as loss and bereavement, redundancy, illness, or drug and alcohol . These often present as depression and , phobias or obsessions, eating disorders or just a lack of interest in and others.

    5. By through these problems with a skilled counsellor, and being open about the things that cause them , anger, fear or sadness, people are often able to their problems better and find a way ahead. All our counsellors are or are in advanced training and work to the code of of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy of which WLCC is a member.

    6. Our Counsellors will with respect to clients and will normally arrange once a week meetings at the Centre for a period of up to twelve weeks. Working with a counsellor like this, in a safe and confidential place, individuals may begin to more fully issues that may have been troubling them for years. Or may gain into a pattern of behaviour or thinking that explains their distress, and which they can in the future.

    9. G e n e r a l for those affected by issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, bereavement, sexual and physical abuse to name a few.
