  1. Activity 2 Mix a WAV file and the sound from a youtube video In this activity, we are going to mix the WAV file created in Activity 1and the sound file in a youtube video.

  2. Activity 2Mix a WAV file and the sound from a youtube video • Import the mp4 into the video studio • Drag the file onto the timeline • Select share ->create Sound File • Change the save as file type to wma • Type the name e.g. sound • SAVE!

  3. Activity 2 Mix a WAV file and the sound from a youtube video 1. Start Audacity. 2. Select ‘File’‘Open’ to open the WAV file created in Activity 1.

The software can be downloaded from http://www.users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html. After the download, select ‘Edit’‘Preferences’‘File Formats’ in Audacity. Click the ‘Find Library’ button to locate the MP3 encoder file.
