Canadian Seed Growers’ Association(CSGA) • www.seedgrowers.ca • Budget • Ran a deficit budget for 3 years • Acreages are essentially flat but fluctuate from year to year • Membership numbers were dropping at a rate of 60 to 70 per year • Expenses increase even if only for inflation • Interest rates for Return on surplus fund investments is low • Pension plan service costs are increasing (low investment returns) • Increased fees for 2011 by $25 per member and 12 cents per acre
