  1. Chinese Dynasty Isaac The Shang dynasty 1766 B.C to 1122 B.C

  2. Location • The Shang dynasty was located in Huang He valley.

  3. Leader • There leader was a priest king. • A dynasty is a sequence of powerful leaders in the same family.

  4. Accomplishments • They became famous for there fine carvings and bronze work. The people of Shang used bronzed to make weapons, vessels and chariot fixtures. • They also carved jade and wove silk.

  5. Accomplishments (2) • The Shang dynasty ruled parts of northern china. • They created the first decimal system.

  6. Downfall  • The Shang dynasty ended because their king was killed by another king from a rival kingdom… (The Chou kingdom) • The Chou kingdom was part of the Shang dynasty….. WEIRD…..

  7. Interesting Facts • The Shang dynasty used oracle bones to talk to the spirits of their ancestors. • They practiced human sacrifice by barring slaves ALIVE in tombs of there masters. • (Oracle bones) ->
