Attention all IBM m/f users: To enhance security, all 3270 session communications must be encrypted using TLS/SSL. This upgrade is mandatory due to internal controls highlighting risks of clear text communications. Upgrade your software to HostExplorer v8.0 or higher (preferably v10.2) on IBM PCs (Windows) and TN3270 v3.1.6 on Macs (OS X). Upgrades are effective November 13, 2005. Early upgrades are allowed. For assistance, contact the ITS HelpDesk at 956-8883 or Tammy Vandevender at 956-5718.
